Our History

Liberty Compassion Initiative (LIBCOIN) is a church-led community-based organization (CBO) founded with the mission to empower communities through social and economic development programs. Established with a strong commitment to gender equality, youth empowerment, and poverty alleviation, LIBCOIN operates as a non-profit organization, relying on sponsorships, donor funding, and volunteer efforts to drive its impact. The initiative was founded to increase community capacity in addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV), inequality, and economic hardships. Over the years, LIBCOIN has expanded its objectives to include education access for women and girls, social welfare support for persons with disabilities (PWDs), and youth employment initiatives. By fostering peace, respect, and empowerment, the organization has continued to uplift disadvantaged groups through entrepreneurial programs, skills training, and community-driven projects.
